My main focus since the beginning of the season has been to reach my 2nd Olympic trials. I am now in heavy training as well as competing regularly unrested to improve my race fitness. I recently competed in Bristol, where I was able to pb in my 100 race and be just off my 200, which I was very happy with considering my heavy schedule.
On Thursday 10th March, I am funding myself and flying up to Edinburgh, to compete in the Edinburgh international meet. This will be my last swim before the trials.
Your support will mean I am able to fund my trip to Glasgow for the Olympic trials. I have a flight booked, a shared apartment for a week with one other, entries and new trunks to compete in to pay for. The cost of all of this is so far, without my food is enormous. These meets are all part of the process that I am following, as part of the Tokyo 2020 Project, to be a part of the Olympic swim team for Tokyo. My aim is always to swim my best and any selection for a Great Britain team along the way, is a great achievement. Now I have moved into the senior rankings, I am currently ranked 3rd fastest in Britain this year in the 100. I am determined to make my mark, among some of the best breaststroker's in the world!
