The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

This Summer, I competed at the Laser 4.7 Worlds in Kiel, Germany, the 420 Nationals in Pwhelli, Wales, and the Cadet Nationals in Weymouth.

I won the Cadet Nationals making me the British National Champion maintaining my title for the second year running.

I have attached a link for a report of the Final Day of the Cadet Class National Championships 2016, it includes a short Video which I hope you can include on your website. This Autumn I am continuing to train in order to compete at the Cadet World Championships in Argentina this December. I am also looking ahead to transition into the next class of boat a 420.

I have just won the third and final worlds selector, and have therefore made the GBR Cadet Worlds Team. The Worlds are to be held in Argentina, this Christmas. 

Jamie is a 15 year old sailor, who is currently working hard to be selected for the GBR team for the 50th Cadet World Championships in Argentina in December 2016.
