TS5C Sponsored Athlete
The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

Throughout winter I am travelling to the Welsh National Velodrome in Newport every Tuesday to take part in the popular and competitive Newport City Track League.

I am riding in the A League (the most advanced race group), racing with riders older than me who are riding in British Cycling Talent Programmes and teams.

My results have reflected the hard work I have been putting into my training and nutrition regime. My results have been very pleasing, achieving podium finishes in at least 3 out of 5 races per week and winning several of the more lengthy endurance races which suit my riding style.

The most pleasing news of late has been winning the "Young Sports Performer of the Year" at the 2013 South Somerset District Council Gold Star Awards. The event was held at Yeovil's Octagon Theatre. It was a great evening and i was thrilled to win.
